Coinbase wallet is available on mobile devices for iOS and Android users. All you have to do is navigate to your mobile app store and install the Coinbase wallet app.

Then go to the NFTs section in Coinbase wallet and click on the NFT you want to send. Tap on the send button located at the top right corner of the NFT and approve the transaction.
Meanwhile, you need Ether tokens to pay for gas fees and complete the transfer on your Coinbase wallet.

- Add some ETH tokens in Coinbase Wallet for the Gas Fee
- Download and setup Metamask wallet
- Copy deposit address from Metamask wallet
- Open Coinbase and go to NFTs
- Click on the NFT and tap send
- Paste the MetaMask wallet’s address in the recipient field
- Confirm Transaction
Steps To Transfer NFT from Coinbase Wallet to Metamask
1. Add some ETH in Coinbase Wallet for the Gas Fee
Before you can transfer NFT assets from your Coinbase wallet, ensure you have enough ETH to pay for gas fees.
You can buy ETH from the Binance exchange. To do this, open your Binance app. Switch to Binance Lite from the profile menu.
On the home screen, choose Ethereum > Buy to purchase Ether tokens.
Input the amount of Ether you need. Essentially, the amount of Ether tokens you need to pay for sending an NFT depends on the Gwei of the gas your transaction will consume.
Input your payment details and click BUY ETH.
Once the transaction is complete, your ETH tokens will be transferred to your wallet.
Finally, copy your Coinbase ETH deposit address and withdraw the ETH tokens you bought on Binance.
Go to Wallet in the bottom right corner, then click withdraw in and choose Ethereum as the asset that you want to withdraw.
Paste your Coinbase deposit address, choose Ethereum as ‘Network,’ and specify the amount of ETH token you want to transfer.
Finally, tap ‘withdraw’ and verify the transaction. Now you have ETH to pay for transferring the NFT asset.
2. Download and setup Metamask wallet
If you don’t have a MetaMask wallet, you can download the wallet from your respective app store for iOS or Android devices.
Once you’ve installed the wallet, open the wallet and click “CREATE A NEW WALLET”.
Back up the 12-word mnemonic phrase and input your preferred password to create a new wallet.
3. Copy ETH deposit address from Metamask wallet
Once your MetaMask wallet has been set up, you need to copy your Metamask deposit address.
To do this, open and log in to your Metamask wallet. Click RECEIVE and copy the address. Alternatively, you can transfer assets by scanning the QR code from the sender’s wallet.
4. Open Coinbase and go to NFTs
After copying your Metamask address, open Coinbase and go to NFTs. Here you’ll see a whole list of NFTs owned by you in this wallet.
5. Click on the NFT and tap send
Click on the NFT you want to transfer and tap the send arrow on the top right corner of the NFT asset.
6. Paste the MetaMask wallet’s address in the recipient field
Paste the wallet address in the field provided. You can also scan the deposit QR code and transfer the NFT without having to copy and paste the deposit address.
7. Confirm Transaction
On the confirmation page, you can adjust the gas fee and limits via the transaction settings. Once you’re satisfied with the fees, tap SEND.
The transaction will be executed, and your NFT will show in your Metamask wallet as soon as it is confirmed on the blockchain.
Conclusion
You can check the progress of your transfer from your Coinbase wallet. Click on the transfer details and tap “VIEW ON BLOCK EXPLORER” in the lower part of the transfer details.
Once the transfer is complete, you will see your asset under the ‘NFTs’ section in your Metamask Mobile App.
